It is a emulsifiable pre-emergence selective herbicide containing Pendimethalin 30% w/w and balance other relevant ingredients. * Caution Toxic to aquatic organisms hence should not be used near water bodies, aquaculture or pisciculture.

Direction of Use

Plant Protection Equipments ion use : Knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, fitted with flat fan/food jet nozzle.

Time of Application

Wheat:- Pre-emergence of weeds, immediately after sowing of wheat.

Cotton:- Pre- plant incorporation upto 7 days before planting or pre-emergence with in 2 days of sowing.

Soybean:- Pre emergence with in 24hours of planting or pre -plant incorporation in top 2-5 cm emergence soil with a suitable farm equipment.

Rice:- ( transplanted or direct sowing) Pre-emergence of weeds

Application: Ensure uniform level of puddled field.Maintain 5-10 cm of standing water form atleast of week after the application.

Pigeon Pea: Pre-emergence to weeds, 0-2 days after plantation/sowing.

Chillies : Pre-emergence to weeds, 0-4 days after transplanting.

Onion: Pre-emergence to weeds, after transplanting/sowing.

Precaution
  • Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals feed.
  • Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  • Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
  • Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
  • Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  • Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
  • It should not be used in the areas where pisciculture/aquaculture is practiced alongwith rice cultivation.
Symptoms Of Poisoning

Headache, giddiness, nausea, vomiting, sweating, excessive lacrimation and salivation may occur.

First Aid
  • If swallowed, do not induce vomiting or give liquid orally.
  • If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water.
  • If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air.

No specific antidote. Treat symptomatically.

Disposal Of Used Container
  • It shall be the duty of manufactures formulators of herbicide and operator to dispose packages or surplus materials and washings from the machine and container shall be disposed off in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water pollution.
  • The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
  • Packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
Storage Conditions
  • The packages containing the herbicide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depend upon the quantity and nature of the herbicide.
  • The rooms or premises meant for storing the fungicide shall be built dry, cool, well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimensions.
