Direction of Use
Use the contents (1000 ml) for one hectare of land for
the effective control of grasses and
broad leaf weeds in Soybean crop.
Time of Application
Use a knapsack sprayer equipped with flat fan nozzle. As
with any herbicide, calibrate
yourself and the sprayer prior to application to ensure the use if adequate spray
solution.
For the best results, apply Sodium Acifluorfen 16.5% + Clodinafop-Propargyl 8% EC when
the
weeds are in the 2-4 leaf stage, normally 20-24 days fter sowing of soybean crop. For
the
best results ensure a uniform application of the spray solution over the treated area.
Precautions
- The spray man should use appropriate protective clothing like hat, long sleeved shirt,
long pants and shoes.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin when handling the concentrates spray solution. Avoid
inhalation of spray mist. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Do not eat,
drink or smoke during application.
- Remove contaminated clothes and wash before reuse. Do not reuse the empty containers.
- Wash hands & exposed skin with soap and water before meals and after work.
- After spraying this herbicide, the sprayer and utensils should be thoroughly cleaned with
plenty of soap and water.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Severe eye irritation, highly skin irritant, respiratory
tract irritation, Dyspnea,
salivation, decreased activity, ataxia, nasal discharge may occur.
First Aid
- Remove the patient to the fresh air.
- Wash contaminated skin with plenty of soap and water.
- If eyes are contaminated, flush eyes thoroughly with water for atleast 15 minutes and
refer to doctor.
- In case of poisoning by ingestion, victim should be induced to vomit by tickling the back
of throat.
- In emergency take the patient to the nearest hospital.

No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
Disposal Of Used Container
- It shall be the duty of the manufacturers, formulators of herbicide and operators to
dispose packages or surplus materials and washings in a safe manner so as to prevent
environmental and water pollution.
- The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
- Packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
Storage Conditions
- The packages containing herbicide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises, away
from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles or shall be kept in separate
almirahs under lock and key.
- The rooms or premises meant for storing herbicide shall be well-built, dry, well-lit and
ventilated and of sufficient dimension.
