Direction of Use

Plant Protection Equipment : For conventional spray ( High volume sprayer ) on field crop, quantity of water is recommneded for other method of low volume & ultra low volume quantity of water varies. The most commonly used sprayers are bucket pump sprayer, stirup sprayer, compression knapsack sprayers etc. Use the sprayer with hollow cone nozzle. Keep the nozzle at fixed height from the ground level and spray area in straight line at uniform speed. Preparation of spray solution: 1 ml of ethephon plant growth regulator in 1 lit of water gives 480 ppm, Alkaline water should not be used for making spray solution Precaution : Avoid spray drift to nearby crops. Do not contaminate water used for irrigation or domestic purposes. Do not re-use containers. Destroy it in a safe place. Do not use this for the purpose other than those described on the label. In case of contact with skin wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap water. If taken internally, induce vomiting by inserting fingers into throat. Drink copious quantities of water and obtain medical attention of gastric lavage. Medical treatment is symptomatic.

Time of Application

Mango (for breaking alternate bearing tendencies) : First spray in mid October or early November, total 5 spray at fortnightly interval Mango (for flower induction) : Commencing from early November total 5 spray at weekly interval Mango (post harvest treatement): Dip mature fruits in the solution for uniform ripening. One treatment Pineapple (for flower induction) : 30 - 37 leaf stage or 10 - 12 months. One spray. Coffee (Arabica uniforming ripening of berries ) & Coffee Robusta : Fly picking stage when 10 - 15% of barries ripened of one spray Tomato (post harvest treatment) : Fruits post harvest treatment. Dipping only one spray Rubber-- March, August, September, November (four application) brushing once in two months on the tapping cut of the bark. Pomegranate: One spray around one month before Mrig bahar (June-July), Hast bahar (October-November) or Ambe bahar (December-January).

Precautions
  • Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals food.
  • Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  • Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
  • Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
  • Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  • Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Symptoms Of Poisoning

Headche, nausea, vomitting, giddiness,blurred vision, irritation to skin, eyes and mucous membrane may occur.

First Aid
  • If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomitus is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious.
  • If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water.
  • If eyes are contaiminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air.

No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.

Disposal Of Used Container
  • It shall be the duty of manufactures formulators and operator to dispose packages or surplus materials and washings from the machine and container shall be disposed off in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water. pollution.
  • The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
  • Packages shall be broken and burried away from habitation.
Storage Conditions
  • The packages containing the insecticides shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the insecticide.
  • The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticides shall be well lit, well built, dry, cool, ventilated and of sufficient dimensions to avoid contamination with vapour.
